Oppo Find X5 Pro
After a well-built Find X3 Pro model released in 2021, Oppo did it again this year with the Find X5 Pro. An almost impeccable high-end smartphone, which allows the company to disseminate its know-how and experience gained in recent years. This model stands out even as the best smartphone to date under Android, according to our comparison.
Therefore, the Oppo Find X5 Pro is claiming its rights against the well-established Samsung Galaxy S series. It replaces the Galaxy S21 Ultra as well as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which are located just behind it. A superiority that was confirmed during our recent duel, where the last Samsung faced that of Oppo.
A smartphone that keeps its promises
The Oppo Find X5 Pro has weapons, such as the Amoled LTPO display, which allows it to offer an adjustable refresh rate of 120 Hz. Its 6.7-inch panel displays WQHD + (3216 x 1440 pixels). With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the smartphone proves to be effective, even though Qualcomm’s latest high-end chip has a bit of a hard time delivering its maximum performance. In terms of autonomy, the Find X5 Pro incorporates a 5000 mAh battery that allows it to last for 17 hours. An honorary term at a very high level.
His strong point, however, is undoubtedly photography. Indeed, every good smartphone of its kind should offer the best possible photo experience and, in this game, the Oppo model outperforms the direct competition. Aided by its wide and extremely wide 50 megapixels, the phone manages to offer good shots, well exposed and with excellent clarity. Slightly sparse, the telephoto lens only offers x2 magnification, but without a disadvantage. The Oppo smartphone is a little less flexible than a Galaxy S21 Ultra or S22 Ultra, but overall it has better image performance. The Chinese firm’s strategy therefore seems to have borne fruit, aided by its recent alliance with the Swedish company Hasselblad.
